We are thrilled to announce that this year's πππ₯π¨ πππ πππ² ππ°ππ«π winner is Isabella W! This award recognizes excellence in student stage management, in honor of our longtime stage manager/costume designer/snack fairy godmother/swiss army knife of theatre, Carroll Newman.
Izzie has been with us since the inception of WCT. Her first show was πππ’π΅ ππ΅π’π―ππ¦πΊ. She would continue on to act, sing, and dance in πππͺπ€π¦ πͺπ― ππ°π―π₯π¦π³ππ’π―π₯, ππ―π΅π° π΅π©π¦ ππ°π°π₯π΄, and 10 ππ’πΊπ΄ π΅π° ππΆπ³π·πͺπ·π¦ ππͺπ§π¦ πͺπ― π’ ππΆπ’π³π’π―π΅πͺπ―π¦. While she performed in these shows, you could very often find her dressed in all black volunteering as a crew member for the other WCT shows she wasn't appearing in that year. Even over this past all-virtual season, Izzie was there to lend a hand via Zoom to our younger cast as they navigated performing a #musical for the very first time online.
Izzie has been a consistently reliable & creative problem-solver since her first day with us. We are incredibly lucky to have a student that we can rely on behind-the-scenes who is both so professional and of course, so fun to work with!
